I BROUGHT THIS GATE FOR THE TOP OF THE STAIRS AND OUR 14 MONTH OLD SON CANNOT OPEN THIS GATE HAS TRIED BUT AS YOU DRILL INTO THE WALL THE GATE CANNOT MOVE AT ALL. THE STAIRS ARE WIDER THEN NORMAL AND THIS GATE ADJUSTS TO FIT AND FEELS STRONG WHEN LEANING AGAINST IT. ITS WORTH THE MONEY COMPARD TO OTHER GATES WE HAVE TRIED.

this wooden stair gate looks much better than the metal ones and because it extends it fits a ,ider opening which is what i needed.

I have brought many stair gates over the years, this one is by far the best I have brought. It is very easy to fit, strong, safe, very versatile and as a bonus looks great too.
Unlike the many gates that have a bar across the bottom that I have tripped on many times, the lindam has no such trip hazzard when open. 5 out of 5 for me, I will be buying another couple to fit at my mothers house for visits.

I have no less than x4 of these gates... have previously given no less than x4 reports... all saying they are of very good quality... brilliantly packaged... an excellent purchase... but please... please do not ask me to review this product again... fed-up...

I bought one of thesse to fit a very small doorway (68cm) and it does the job brilliantly. Looks really nice and you can undo the catch with one hand which is very useful. The only reason it lost a star is the screws. I had one break off in the doorframe and had to raise the gate to compensate. I lost another 3 screws to the screwhead getting chewed by the screwdriver. I got similar ones out of my toolbox and sorted in minutes (wish I hadn't spent so long trying the supplied ones). So happy with product - I ordered 2 more yesterday and they arrived this morning (on the 5 day free delivery!).
