As a single mother I was dreading having to put together yet another piece of safety equipment, whilst keeping an eye on the baby, on my own. This gate is brilliant, there's no major screwing together of pieces and the clue is definitely in the title of "easy fit"!
The gate itself makes a reassuring clunk sound when it is closed and is much more elegant than some of the tacky looking white plastic gates on the market. You press and slide a button to open the gate (sounds a bit complicated but isn't!)& it swings in one direction. There is even a little latch at the bottom to stop the gate closing completely if, say for example, you're going back and forth between rooms and need your hands free.
I'd definitely recommend it, for this price you can't go wrong. Be warned though, when you first put the gate up there will be a gap between the bar and the gate, there is a sticker on the gate that tells you this gap will disappear as the gate is tightened, but my friend completely missed the sign and thought it was a design fault!

I bought this gate 3 weeks ago and it has been a godsent! My baby girl of 10 months is kept safely behind the gate whilst I can get on with the housework. It looks great (nice design) and works fantastic. You can actually open and shut it with one hand and carry your baby. I would recommend this if you are looking for a trendy and super safe gate which is easily fitted (I fitted it myself so).

This is such a great gate ! It is really easy to install, but most importantly, it is so easy to use. Easily opened with 1 hand, and even closes itself to the lock position without me having to do anything ! It is also very sturdy, as my son can happily pull himself up on it, and it stays in place nicely - we havent even drilled into the walls, as we just use the pressure kit. A truly great product !

This gate is easy to fit (took me about 3 minutes once it was out of the box). It's well made and feels very secure. The sprung loaded action of the gate itself is just the right weight and the opening/closing mechanism is very easy to use one-handed. Very pleased with it, we've actually got three of them in our house!
