This extension and the main gate itself have one key flaw. They have to have round suction cups fixed to the wall and the plugs at each end of the gate screw in to these cups to fix it in to position. This means you cannot move the gate in to another position as the cups remain fixed to the wall. We bought this for the stairs at our parents house and this means it can only go at the bottom of the stairs. If the manufacturer included a second pair of cups then you could have the cups in 2 locations and move the gate between them.

this company are terrible at returning money to you. firstly they sent out the wrong coloured extension pole fair enough they sent out the right one very quickly but am still waiting for my money back for the postage paid for the returned item!!
